Dec 29, 2014 12:37 PM in response to Donna Pennby Kappy,Yes, you can. The folder you need is /Home/Music/iTunes/. That folder must be moved from your computer to the same location on hers. Note, however, that any music in the library purchased through iTunes using your Apple ID cannot be used by her unless she knows your Apple ID and password or you both use the same one.
Usually, two users with separate Apple IDs cannot easily share the same iTunes library due to different usernames and passwords and different Apple IDs. However, it is possible for you to set up Home/Family Sharing on your computer so that she can access your iTunes library without having the library on her computer.

Dec 29, 2014 2:01 PM in response to Kappyby Donna Penn,Good to know it's doable. Now to do it. I've tried copying iTunes library and dropping in airdrop as well as drop box but seems neither of us has enough storage space to do the transfer. Any thoughts? Also, thoughts on how to perform the transfer? Thanks for all your help. I will now move on to home sharing.

Dec 29, 2014 2:40 PM in response to Donna Pennby Kappy,Either install larger hard drives in your computers or use external drives to free up space by moving unused and unneeded files from the startup drive to the external drive. You should always have at least 20 GBs of free space on your startup drive at all times. Also, see:
Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Get an external hard drive on which to store some of your files after which you can
erase the data from your internal drive to free up space.
5. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
6. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
7. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.
