Dec 29, 2014 2:07 PM in response to green gingerby Kappy,You purchased a redemption code that should have been sent to you by email. Open the App Store. On the right under Quick Links is a link named, Redeem. Click on that, entry your redemption code, then click on the Redeem button. Your download should start. You can observe it by switching the App Store to Purchases. It will also be shown in Launchpad and on Launchpad's Dock icon when you hover your cursor over it.

Dec 29, 2014 2:08 PM in response to green gingerby Japib,Hi,
If you purchased the licensed, you should have received an email from Apple either as a receipt or as an email containing a redeem code for Mountain Lion. This email should have a link to download Mountain Lion.

Dec 30, 2014 4:13 AM in response to littlelala_auby green ginger,I don't know which email app you use but on GMail I nearly missed my 2nd email cos it was attached to the first. Have another look...Once you click the PDF link it contains another two codes; one of these is the redemption code; it took a while but I'm now up and running FINALLY! Good luck.

Dec 30, 2014 8:01 AM in response to xosandstormxoby Eric Root,Check that your computer is compatible with Mountain Lion/Mavericks/Yosemite.
To check the model number hold down the option/alt key, go to the Apple menu and select System Information.
- iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) model number 7,1 or higher
- MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) model number 5,1 or higher
- MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) model number 3,1 or higher
- MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) model number 2,1 or higher
- Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) model number 3,1 or higher
- Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) model number 3,1 or higher
- Xserve (Early 2009) model number 3,1 or higher
Your Mac needs:
- OS X v10.6.8 or OS X Lion already installed
- 2 GB or more of memory (More is better - 4 GB minimum seems to be the consensus)
- 8 GB or more of available space

Dec 30, 2014 12:56 PM in response to green gingerby littlelala_au,Heya, thanks for the answer, I've checked and double checked the emails, I still only have one (the receipt) and nothing with any code or instructions in it... This is pathetic!
