Q: I have a 2nd gen shuffle. I want to manage songs manually but in itunes there is no option for this. If I highlight an individual song there is no option to delete it on right-click menu. There is no check box on settings menu to manually manage.

I have a 2nd gen shuffle and I want to manually manage song list. I am working in itunes on a windows 7 machine.

    Hi there rossfromhillsborough,

You may find the information about manually managing music in the article below helpful. Note: the screenshots in the article are from OS X, but the steps will still apply to the Windows version of iTunes

Thanks for trying, but I don't have the option to check "manually manage music" as is shown in the screen shot. To summarize, it's a windows 7 machine with the latest version of itunes, and a 2nd generation shuffle. I used to be able to manually manage the music list in older versions of itunes but I can't find any way to do it in the latest version. I have looked up every thread I can google and no one gives an answer that works so far. If anyone out there knows how to do it, I'd appreciate a solution.
