No way trying to connect my new stereo receiver Yamaha R-N500 with my Mac and Ipad

Hi, I'm having troubles to connect my Yamaha R-N500 (AirPlay capable) with my Macbook Pro and mi iPad mini, both update to the latest versions of Yosemite and iOS. The AirPlay icon doesn't appear on iTunes. I guess that's because these devices don't recognize the receiver into the network. But the receiver seems well connected to it as I can connect it to radios on internet and via the Yamaha remote app I can send my songs on the iPad to the receiver. What's wrong? Can anyone help me? Thanks!
