Hi All.

I've tried several time to install win 7 trought BootCamp (5.1.2) on My new Mac Mini i5 2.6GHz 8Gb , whitout Success.

Every time i launch BootCamp, after partitionating HDD, the mini reboot to start install, but nothing go!

I have only a black screen, and no install.

I've used an official win 7 ultimate 64bit iso, a 8 Gb USB2 pen drive fat formatted, but no way to install.... only reboot and black screen....

I've connected the mac to a philips display via HDMI cable (tryed several cable) and it works perfectly whit Yosemite, but no way to use it in bootcamp.

Please Help!

Please plug-in the USB which has the Windows ISO+BC drivers when booted in OSX and check if the USB appears under the high-speed bus or super-speed bus? Is this USB directly connected to the MacMini or are there any intervening hubs?

Do you have a wired keyboard/mouse?

Do you have a Windows 8+ installer that you can use as a test?

Can you check your TV to see if the HDMI input connected to the Mini detects any signal?

Since W8+ works, it may be an issue with monitor resolution. What default screen resolution did you get with the W8+ installer?

For the W7 installation, did you wipe Bootcamp/Windows partition and start by re-creating the partition again?

Is there a Bootcamp/Windows volume that you have access to in Finder? There should be a set of logs in the /Volumes/BOOTCAMP directory as follows.

    find . -name setup*.log -print

    ./Windows/Inf/setupapi.dev.log

    ./Windows/Inf/setupapi.offline.log

    ./Windows/Inf/setupapi.setup.log

    ./Windows/Logs/SetupCleanupTask/setupact.log

    ./Windows/Logs/SetupCleanupTask/setuperr.log

    ./Windows/Panther/FastCleanup/setupact.log

    ./Windows/Panther/FastCleanup/setuperr.log

    ./Windows/Panther/setupact.log

    ./Windows/Panther/setuperr.log

    ./Windows/Panther/UnattendGC/setupact.log

    ./Windows/Panther/UnattendGC/setuperr.log

    ./Windows/setupact.log

    ./Windows/setuperr.log

Check these for any specific error messages related to GPU.

Are there any storage devices (like a SD card or a second USB disk) connected to the Mac? Are there any other peripherals connected to the Mini during the W7 installation? Do you have any USB or TB hubs connected to the Mini?

How did you obtain this Windows 7 installer? You may be able to download a different ISO using your Product Key from Microsoft.

if you download something 2 times in a row you mostly get the same file from the cache of your isp

you can use oracles virtual box it's free virtual machine to verify if the issue is with the installer or something else
