Basically i need my iphone unlocking so my brother can use it however as i dont have acontract on EE anymore they wont unlock it, plus i transffered my old number to a different network for my new contract on virgin media. How do i unlock it then?

Only the carrier it's locked to can authorize unlocking it. If you don't meet EE's requirements for unlocking, then it can not be unlocked. There is nothing anyone can do about it.

Ask EE. If it's locked to EE, and your brother intends to use it with EE, then why is unlocking an issue at all?
