Q: already a member of another Family ... not

Upgraded to Yosemite today and set up Family Sharing using one of my two Apple IDs as the organizer. Tried to add my other Apple ID to the Family and was informed that it "is already a member of another Family". I'd love to know how that happened.

iCloud had already been configured to use this second Apple ID prior to the upgrade, but I specifically changed the Apple ID for the organiser to that of my first account using the provided option during the Family Sharing setup process.

 

I've already been screwed over by the multiple Apple ID debacle. Now it seems I can't even use Family Sharing to work around it.

Why is Apple so **** bent on me buying everything twice?
