Hey Plotski,

You should be able to turn off Airplay by swiping up on your iPhone to bring up Control Center and tap on AirPlay icon and select your iPhone as the source and it should not be connected any more to your Apple TV.

Use AirPlay to wirelessly stream content from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
