I recently reset my old iPhone 5 as I am preparing to trade it in. After the reset I turned it on to make sure everything was deleted. All looks good, except when I go to my Contacts listing, my phone number is still listed next to "My Number:" although service has been transferred to my new 6. Is there any way to permanently remove that information from my old phone?

Who is your carrier?
The link I provided you will allow you to erase the phone and remove information from it. Then remove your SIM from the phone.
