Q: Does family sharing of apps, games, etc take up storage space on each family member's device for each individual's downloads and/or purchases?
My husband and I got our eight-year-old her first iPod for Christmas. I would like to set up family sharing, but have issues constantly with storage space on my own device (iPhone), and I'm not sure I want all of her apps and downloads to eat up my own storage on my device since everythjng is "shared" . Is that how this works? Also, I definitely want to keep tabs on her content, but I also don't want her having access to all my or my husbands content. If we have apps for books or shows or movies (like HBO for instance), it includes content not appropriate for children.... how can we keep those from showing up on her device? And one final question...if she has access to my downloaded apps and games, does she also have access to my progress in each game? Or does it show up new for her to start on her own? Many questions I know, but I need answers to these questions before I choose to set up family sharing! Please help! Thank you!
