Battery and icon problem

ho un ipod Classic 30gb, dopo averlo caricato l'icona della batteria diventa velocemente vuota fino a diventare rossa, se spengo l'iPod la batteria torna ad essere verde. Ieri con batteria appena caricata si è spento dicendo 'batteria scarica collegare all'alimentatore'

che problema ha?

Hi, I have an iPod Classic 30gb, after charging the battery icon quickly becams empty to became red, if I turn off the iPod the icon battery becames green. Yesterday with freshly charged battery the iPod has died saying 'low battery connected to the power' what kind of problem has my iPod?
