Dec 31, 2014 8:26 PM in response to Sanasarby Loner T,If you Mac originally came with a built-in Optical drive, you need it to be fully functional and use DVD Installation media. You cannot use a USB alone for installation. It will give you no bootable device errors. You should use a USB2 disk/flash drive. USB3 will not work.
From Boot Camp 5.1: Frequently asked questions - Apple Support
Can I install Windows from an ISO image?
To find out if your Mac supports that feature, open Boot Camp Assistant, then click the Continue button. If you see a checkbox labeled “Create a Windows 7 or later install disk,” your Mac can install Windows from an ISO image.
If you modify Bootcamp info.plist to work around the USB creation issue, you will still run into this issue.
