Q: printing errors after installing Yosemite

I am getting a communication error with my Epson printer after installing Yosemite. It does not communicate at all. With my other computer and HP printer, it communicates and eventually prints, but only sometimes. Do I need to reset my printers? If so, how do you do this with Yosemite 10.10.1?

Resetting the print system and re-adding the printers is a good start.

You should also make sure your drivers are current.
