Outlook and "Mail"

"Mail" on my Mac is not synchronizing with my primary email, which is Outlook. I delete emails in "Mail," and they're still in Outlook. And the opposite: I delete emails in Outlook and they're still in "Mail." Is there a way to synchronize them?

Why am I not allowed to create or update this content?

It sounds like you have Mail set to retrieve your Outlook mail using POP, not IMAP. If you've had the Outlook account for a while, a few years ago Outlook (Hotmail) could only be retrieved into Apple Mail using POP settings. It should be a matter of changing your Apple Mail preferences for your Outlook account to use IMAP settings instead of POP.
