I am having the same exact issue, except with a Hyundai Veloster, and I'm wondering what I should do after I have tried all of the troubleshooting options... My iPhone 5c will connect to the bluetooth and stay connected for a few seconds and then it doesn't register with the system. It causes my touchscreen to freeze and constantly reads "initializing bluetooth handsfree." My husband's Commando, on the other hand, connects just fine and will stay connected, play music, and even sync the contacts... It's very frustrating when you purchase a brand new car that has the handsfree system only to learn that you can't use it...even after you spend hours on the phone with Hyundai troubleshooting the issue, to no avail....
