Jan 1, 2015 10:20 AM in response to ldghzby Lyssa,★HelpfulIt probably won't die for a day or two. You may be better off making an appointment at an Apple store and bringing in the phone in for service.

Jan 1, 2015 10:40 AM in response to ldghzby ferneee,Don't put the iPhone in the freezer or anything, but cold temperatures can shorten the battery runtime a bit. If you are "all-in" on not taking the iPhone in for service, one of the colder rooms in your home might help speed things up.

Jan 1, 2015 10:44 AM in response to ferneeeby ldghz,I thought you were trolling me for a minute.. does it really? If I can't put it in the freezer, should I just leave it where it is? I mean I'm in England and it's pretty cold in my house. Should I leave it in a room where we haven't put on the heating? I feel like that won't do much

Jan 1, 2015 11:07 AM in response to ldghzby Lyssa,★HelpfulThe phone uses its battery to keep the phone warm enough to function correctly, so putting it in a cooler room will drain the battery faster.
The ideal temperatures are here: http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201678
If you've got a room that's closer to 0C, you may find that the phone's battery runs out more quickly than it would in another room.
