Q: iTunes sign in does not work

I am trying to sign into iTunes. When I put in my apple ID and password, it states my account has not been verified. When I click the option to send me an e-mail to complete the verification process, the e-mail never arrives. When I choose the option to answer security questions, it does not recognize my info. How can I log in to my iTunes account? I have tried this from my iPhone 6 and from my MacBook Pro.
