Q: My phone died completely and will not charge on ANY chargers

My phone died completely and when I tried to recharge it, it would not go back on at all. I just got a new charger and I tried that after my old one didn't work, and it still didn't go on. I let it sit overnight and in the morning, it still wouldn't go on. I tried plugging it into different outlets, even tried the USB on my computer! And every time I press the home button and lock button I get that lightning bolt screen, so my phone isn't broken or anything. How do I fix this? What is going on???

Check the charging port on the phone to see if there is any debris, dust, lint, etc. in the port that is causing the charging cord not to seat correctly. You say you got a new charger, did you get a new cable as well? Did you try a new cable? If you have done that and after checking the charging port it is still not charging, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to have the hardware checked.
