I don't think there is one. Most Mac applications have a help menu item in the menu bar, but except for the most basic features it requires an Internet connection. I agree that is really, really, really annoying since I have frequently been places where I needed the help feature but did not have Internet access. I guess the computer designers never get out of their cubicles into the real world. It's particularly stupid now that many computers are notebooks and why shouldn't you be using it on top of a mountain somewhere?
If you look at any of the Manuals on this page http://support.apple.com/manuals/ there is a section in each one about the iTunes / App Store.
Check out this link for a pdf that is downloadable: http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1565/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf
I have been trying to sync movies and film clips.
I have gone through everything I can find and it does not tell me what the green dots mean, some are solid green, some are half green half white. How do duplicates get in, should there not be a warning that it is already there. Some movies have no dots at all. Some have a box to tic, there is a check in it already but it does not sync. Some when you put a check in the box the box turns blue. The ones with the green dots sync the others do not.
There are so many unanswered questions and I get them synced by only by trial and error. There has to be better instructions somewhere.
I use iTunes a lot and have it open all the time. Ask me any questions you want.
Thanks gggffff
I have iTunes open and the left under Summary>Movies, there is a list of movie clips I want to sync with my iPod. What do the dots, blue not green as I previously said, mean that are under the name of each clip. It appears that the ones without the blue dot are duplicates. If so how do I delete the duplicates?
I'm not sure where you got your information about the blue dots.
The blue dots tell if you if you have viewed the movie or not
No dot = Viewed Fully
Half a dot = Partly Viewed - meaning your halfway through the film
Dot = Haven't viewed yet
Thanks, that explains the dots.
All my music videos saved in Movies in iTunes. I want them in Music Videos but can't seem to get them there. When I go to sync Music it asks if I want to also sinc Music Videos but the folder is empty.
No problem
Go to the music videos in your movies section of iTunes.
Select them all by press CMD when clicking them
Right click and press get info
Go to the options tab and change the media kind to music video
🙂
Thanks. I get the 'get info' window but cannot change the media. It is shaded and will not change.
Hi again. Just figured it out and it works. Was going to the wrong Movie folders.
All these things you have been helping me with should be in a manual or instructions someplace. I would never have figured them out.
Thanks again for all your help.

Yeh
Apple don't really do manuals.
Anymore help you need would be appreciated if you could email me @ milescas3@gmail.com
