Q: I have an Ipad mini UNTIL recently I didnt have a passcode.Iforgot it and have changed it four times,each time I submit it it disables the ipad.I DON'T REALLY WANT A PASS CODE so how do I get access to my IPAD

My grandchild put a passcode on my ipad mini. I can't find out what it is so I have tried several times to change the passcode.each time Apple has responded by saying that the passcode has been successfully reset.So I tab in the new passcode an immediately the ipad is disabled.I am not a savvy apple user so what can I DO ? I don't really want a passcode I just want to open it up an use it like before.

Read this:
Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

If you want your grandchild to play with the iPad use Guided Access:
