Jan 3, 2015 10:37 AM in response to substance12by jeremy_v,Greetings substance12,
Thanks for participating in the Apple Support Communities.
If the Health app is not allowing you to export health data, first make sure you have an email address set up on your iPhone:
Add an email account on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If so, or if the error persists after adding an email, try these general application troubleshooting steps next:
Restart the app
Close the app and open it again.
Restart your device
Update your device software and your apps
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
Update your apps:
- Open the App Store and tap Updates.
- If updates are available, tap Update All.
- If asked, enter your Apple ID password. The updates will download and install.
You might need a Wi-Fi connection to update some apps.
From:
iOS: An app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open - Apple Support
Best Regards,
Jeremy

Jan 21, 2015 9:29 AM in response to substance12by John Schultz,I was having the same problem and fixed it by extending the auto-lock time in Settings.

Jan 28, 2015 1:30 PM in response to John Schultzby Frank Malloy,This worked for me as well - thank you!
Apparently, when the auto lock happens it interrupts the export. Not very nice.
The Health app needs a lot of work.
