You may want to also try resetting the PRAM and SMC on your computer as the next troubleshooting step. Take a look at the articles below for more information.

I have a question related to trackpad gestures after upgrading to Yosemite.
I'm used to double clicking with a single finger to grab and drag, but now it seems the way to do this is with three fingers.
Is there a way to get the single finger double click gesture for grab and drag back?

It could be a bad trackpad or the cable has come unplugged.

It's step 39 but I wouldn't do this unless you are very comfortable being inside a complicated laptop like this. That connector is EXTREMELY delicate and very easy to totally mess up.
Take it to the Apple Store and have them look at it. They can replace the trackpad if it's bad.
