You already have the 8 GB flash drive. You don't need another. Yes, you can use any USB drive. Or go purchase Windows on a DVD and use it instead.

All 8 GB flash drives format to 7.91 GBs. The latter is simply the Base 2 equivalent of the Base 10 number - 8 GBs.

Neither. Changing Bootcamp info.plist is unsupported and any subsequent issues can cause further problems. The first option is derived from Mac Model Identifier and changing the plist causes 'No boot device..' errors during the actual Windows installation. If your Mac does not show this option, you need to ensure that your built-in Optical drive is working and you have appropriate installation media.

Yes, I'm 100% sure. Do the math. Divide 8,000,000,000 by 1024^3 and see what you get. You've been assured and reasurred that your 8 GB flash drive stores 7.91 GBs of data at least three times now. Yet, you keep asking if it's true. What would convince you?
