Q: Wrong SMC version installed. MacBookPro5,1

Hi there,

I have a MacBookPro5,1 and i found today that the SMC version in wrong.

My laptop should have the latest 1.33f8 (SMC 1.2) version BUT my system report shows me this : SMC Version (system):    1.41f2

that as far as i can understand is newer from the latest that Apple Support is having for download...how can this be possible?

The Boot ROM Version:    MBP51.007E.B06 is correct.

Can anyone please tell me how to fix this ? When i download the correct SMC version and try to install i get a message saying:

Alert - This computer does not need this update.

And i can't install it....

Just to inform that i never did an update or anything to the SMC that it had when i bought my computer....

I'm using OS X  Yosemite 10.10.2 (14C81h)

Any help please !
