When are Apple going to sort out the mess with this OS and make apple TV work again?

Like many others I upgraded to Yosemite. Now Apple TV cannot see my Library. Even though home sharing is already on Apple TV is telling me to turn it on!
The only music and films etc I can see are those I have purchased and it only sees those by streaming from the Store. Given that I "upgraded" and I use the term in its loosest form, back in October 2014 I find it incompressible that Apple have done nothing to fix it since. Its not like they are unaware of the situation given the amount of traffic I have seen and read on various forums.
check if the firewall is enabled and if it is if it's allow shared lib to be used

haven't had yosemite problems with my Apple TV but then mine is the old alu one with a hd
but there have been reports in general about wifi issues with yosemite so I would assume they are working on it
you could troubleshoot by connecting it by ethernet to see if that works though
No AppleTV problems with Yosemite here but I've not updated the Apple TVs to the most recent software with the flatter GUI.
Apple TV connected to Ethernet all the time. Tried WiFi and it made no difference.
Apple TV set to update automatically so it has probably got the latest software on it.
No problems with Yosemite here either, but i'm on a 2nd gen. If you want to make Apple aware of any issues, use the feedback forum
Yosemite with 2nd gen, 3rd gen & 3rd gen Rev A, all working just fine.
photos no problem
recorde videos from iTunes no problem
radi no problem
youtube no problem.
BUT
STreaming Live TV shows does not work from Yousemite/iMac
it goes like "Charlie Chaplin".
Stops for a half second every 2 sekonds.
impossible to watching.
COmes the day i upgraded iMac ATV
AFter so long time Apple should have fixad it.
Mirroring requires more resources from the network, thay issue will be due to interference
