Q: A lot of my songs in iTunes cannot be located by the computer how do I recover them.

I downloaded Amazon music download app. Since then a lot of my songs in my iTunes library have an exclamation mark against them, and the computer cannot locate the songs. How do I recover them.

See the heading "Still can't find your media?" in this (somewhat garbled) support article.

When you add a track to iTunes, iTunes puts the media file in a folder, makes a note in its database of where it is, then doesn't ever look at the file location again.  It goes purely based on where it noted it was in its database and keeps track of any move iTunes itself does.  If the Amazon app or you moved any files or folders about the music is quite possibly still on your computer but iTunes has no idea where .  So the first thing to find out is if the music is really gone or iTunes just doesn't know where it is.  I suggest try doing a Spotlight search for a few tracks and see where hte files ended up.
