Q: am using MAC OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on a 2008 computer. This morning my wife attempted to save the "Notes" to her usb stick. It did not work and the notes short cut has disappeared from my short cut bar at the bottom of the desk top. I cannot find

am using MAC OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on a 2008 computer. This morning my wife attempted to save the "Notes" to her usb stick. It did not work and the notes short cut has disappeared from my short cut bar at the bottom of the desk top. I cannot fine it on the computer. Can anyone help me?

    Hello Roy Sr,

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

     

    It sounds like the Notes application was removed from the Dock on your iMac and your looking for a little guidance about adding it to the Dock again. Take a look at the article linked below, it describes the process of adding an application to the dock on your Mac.

    Mac OS X 10.6: The Dock

    • To add a document or folder, drag its icon to the Dock, and drop it to the right of the Dock’s separator line.

     

    • To add an application, drag its icon to the Dock, and drop it to the left of the Dock’s separator line. Or, if the application is open, Contol-click its icon in the Dock and choose Options > “Keep in Dock” from the pop-up menu.
