2. Have you tried an SMC reset - Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) - Apple Support and a NVRAM/PRAM reset - Startup key combinations for Intel-based Macs - Apple Support.
3. Did Mavericks work after Windows 7 was installed and before the Game was installed?
4. Did you install BC drivers on Windows? Check Control Panel -> System -> Boot Camp exists.

i dont know much abot mac os x, so 2. Was a no. Never heard of it either
i actually installed Final Fantasy XIII-2 and played it for half an hour before switching to mavericks, with mavericks working. Two things i think may have causd it would be either
1. Holding down power button while mavericks was booting up a few times because i missed the alt key when booting
2. Windows update?
The only thing i did after the restart was install, then reinstall a windows 7 theme. Install xbox 360 controller for windows, a directX patch (installed before and mavericks worked so not directX) and a few more windows updates.
