Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds
On your iPad use Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings
Try to connect.
Ive tried this and it still does not work. I have also reset my network settings and restarted my phone several times and nothing is working.

If it connects to other networks then perhaps the password you are entering is not correct. Also check to see if you have MAC address filtering turned on or a limit on the number of devices which can connect.

I've had this problem when the wifi password contains certain special characters. My password was something like 01!@#$uqQWE!!!!!. When I changed my password to something without many special characters (like QWERTYhgfdsa-12345), my iPhone connected.
