Q: Combing clips in Quicktime - help!

Hi, I would like to combine several audio clips in Quicktime. Following the directions here on the website doesn't work because when I go to View > Show Clips, this option is in grey and I can't select it. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Apparently nothing. Since the instructions work fine for AV clips on my system but not for audio only files, I would assume either...

    1) The QT X app is not programmed to support audio only files or

    2) There is a bug in the QT X app preventing the editing of audio files that was not caught during beta testing.

Depending on what you are really trying to do here, there are other possible workflows. For instance, if you want to standalone file containing a sequence of audio clips, then you could use QT 7 Pro, GarageBand or the free MPEG Streamclip app. On the other hand, if you are trying to create a pseudo playlist (i.e., reference) file, then you could also do that with QT 7 Pro. If you want to create a real playlist file, then you could use iTunes or, VLC, or a similar app.
