Change to maps has big gaps

Chrome has the gaps for Find My iPhone, but Opera doesn't. Which is odd, I heard that Opera and Chrome both use the Chromium engine. I haven't tested it on other browsers yet.

I have the same problem on my MacBook in Chrome. I've tried clearing cached images and files with no improvement. This problem seems to have started within the past week or two. Prior to that the map worked fine.

In Safari and Firefox, the map looks fine today. But I could have sworn that Safari had the same problem a few days ago.

It looks fine on my iPhone in the Find my Phone app.

This is what it looks like in Chrome. No matter what my zoom level or geographic area, the map has gaps and duplicated areas.

Ya, it's been that way on Chrome browsers since day 1, the day Apple switched from Google to Apple maps last year. Even if you mashed the tiles together to remove the gaps there's still the duplicated areas. The dot isn't displayed on the actual location (well according to whatever part of whatever tile it is drawn on) but rather diagonally away from it. Since both Opera and Chrome browsers use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blink_(layout_engine) I really don't know the reason for this.

This is absolutely terrible! Apple should not be so arrogant and realize its limitations. This is not their area of expertise. Stick to computers and phones.
