Q: Wave form disappears after recording.

Hello all, and happy new year. Quick but important question.

When I record, I can see a beautiful wave form - while recording. But when I stop, the wave disappears.

I've tried the waveform zoom, but nothing.

I can't for the life of me figure out why?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
