Q: My iPhone 5, running iOS 8.1.2 isn't charging up when connected to my laptop

I have been able to charge my iPhone previously when connected to this laptop. Now it keeps vibrating and every few minutes will ask me if I trust this computer when I select Trust it keeps vibrating and the charge has gone from 22% to 8% while it is connected.
