Snap! I just activated my new - unlocked - iPhone 6s- on boost mobile network. No one at the Apple store had ever activated one for Boost. So I left there frustrated but equipped to handle it myself.
(The Grove- is a busy Apple Store and they had only one. They inserted it for me but couldn't activate it. Nano sim card for Boost -FREE.)
BOOST 1-888-266-7848
When you call customer service you need: your cell number and pin
MEID number located on the back of the box.
ICC ID number on card Nano Sim Card was attached to.
I explained that I wasn't able to locate a boost iPhone anywhere. I was transferring my active boost number to this new iphone. I asked her to input my new iphone's MEID into the Boost system. The Boost Rep was great. She apologized for the difficulty and would stay on he line to make certain my cell was activated. She mentioned this usually takes anywhere from 24 to 48 hours to update. I offered to give her the ICC ID... She thanked me and 10 minutes later my iPhone was activated...
the end

You realize that you're replying to a post that's over a year old? Things change rapidly in technology. That's why there's usually no sense in resurrecting old, dead threads.
Glad you got your phone activated.
To clarify... this comes directly from the Boost Mobile FAQ:
Devices:
Can I bring my own compatible phone? No. Presently, Boost Mobile will only activate devices intended for Boost Mobile and certain select Sprint devices.

Still not making sense for me but it's their business!
Locked/unlocked is a kind of meaningless concept in the CDMA world. In order to activate a phone on a CDMA carrier, the phone's IMEI and other information has to be loaded into the carrier's database. If it is not, the phone won't activate. While it is theoretically possible for a carrier to load the information into the system and make the firmware changes to a phone not intended for use on their network, as a practical matter, they simply don't offer that service.
No. If you want to use an iPhone on Boost Mobile, you must purchase a phone specifically for Boost Mobile.
Edited: See KiltedTim answers below
Boost Mobile uses the Sprint CDMA network. You can not bring your own phone to Boost Mobile.
Noted, removed my previous post.
P.S.: That does not make any sense to me but whatever!
Thanks but I didn't mean you weren't right! I edited my post when I saw yours and read that in their website.
