I don't know when this started, at least a month ago, everytime I try to view certain videos it says "quicktime player required to play some elements on this" and "Install plug-in" - it is installed and I even just updated it and it is still saying this. Help me please! I have mac os yosemite and updated with quicktimeplayer 7.6.6 snow leopard

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of the issue you are describing, and/or where and when you are seeing this error message. If you have already installed/reinstalled Quicktime Player, you may want to doublecheck your install process as outlined in the following article:
