New Mac Pro - Errors detected on memory module

My system:

Mac Pro (Late 2013)

3,5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5

16 GB 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC

AMD FirePro D500 3072 MB

250G SSD Internal

OSX Yosemite 10.10.1

Problem:

During the hard editing in Final Cut or work in Motion I feel like my mac starts to slow down.

Especially during sharing video to h264 format. Mac starts very slowly rendering.

After the first failure in the system, I found this errors:
User uploaded file

first error occurs in one module, then after 15-20 min. in all modulesUser uploaded file

Is this a hardware problem?

If not a hardware problem, is there some well understood fix for this?

Sorry for my English.

Thank you!

Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

You may see that the Error detection-and-correction Hardware has found (and corrected) errors in some of your modules, as seen in this report:

Modules that are giving errors are Bad. This is a Hardware Problem, but check to be sure the fan is running. If it gets a little bit worse, a Double-bit (uncorrectable) Error will occur, and you Mac Pro will halt on a kernel panic, machine check, uncorrected error or error overflow, detected by multiple processors at once. This is by design, to keep memory errors from poisoning your data.

When it is operating correctly, your Mac Pro measures the temperatures in multiple places inside the chassis and adjusts the fan as needed in a feedback loop to keep temperatures completely under control. If a major error occurs, the fan will race at top speed in a fail-safe manner.

Your Mac Pro is NOT operating properly, and is getting too hot. You should stop running it and take it in for service.

lllaass has observed that when 10.10.2 is installed on a Mac Pro cylinder, it also installs a firmware update for the SMC that does not appear to be available separately. This may give better temperature control.

Updating to 10.10.2 on your main internal Boot Drive means there is no easy way to go back if you hate it, so you may prefer to install it on a spare external drive like a USB drive.

We've had similar problems with a late 2013 3.5 ghz 6-core Mac Pro 4 x 16 GB RAM. We use it for pretty intensive tasks and it worked flawlessly for a few months. Then I started noticing the memory errors. It started with one slot and has now spread to the others to the point where 3 of the 4 16 GB slots now show as empty, leaving the computer with only 16 of the original 64 GB of RAM.

My suspicion is that there was an error with the fan not ramping up during intense processing so the heat may have damaged the RAM modules. It seemed to stay at the default low speed (~780 RPM) no matter the task.

I haven't resolved the issue yet but will likely make an Apple Store appointment soon.

Another weird thing I've noticed with the Mac Pro is that the USB ports will sometimes not work. Our USB keyboard and mouse sometimes will not function when waking the Mac from sleep but will be fine upon a restart.

Yes !

I have all the same issues everyone is describing also.
* All new Mac 4gig memory DRAMS 16 Gig total
3.7 Ghz Quad Xeon E5--- 16 GB--AMD FirePro D300 2048 MB

* My machine started all this with FCPX
* But is very intermittent now with how many errors on memory module even just turning it on and no major programs running will
error out..

* I really like he features but the intermittent errors is slowing me and my business down......

* Do you think Apple has figured this out yet?

Thanks

Apple figured this out and your system (and readers here) told you: You have a HARDWARE problem, most likely caused by Bad RAM.

There is a very small possibility this is being made worse because your fan is not spinning fast enough.

There are no quick fixes for this, and if it gets any worse your Mac will crash many times a day with a Kernel panic, machine check.

You need to take action to get this fixed.
