is there any way to revert back to OS X Mavericks after updating to Yosemite

can i revert back to os x mavericks after installing os x yosemite

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Only if you kept the original installer file. YOu may be able to request AppleCare release it for you in your App Store, since your Mac came with 10.9.

Also if you make a Clone backup of 10.9 before upgrading that will help.

Do a backup, preferably 2. Check your Purchases tab at the App Store to make sure it is there.

Revert to a Previous OS X

Revert Yosemite to Mavericks

If you do revert, I'd use Setup Assistant to restore your data. This process takes a while, so do it when you won't need the computer for several hours, based on my experience.
