Hi, I want to delete a gmail account from the mail application on my macbook.
I tried pressing Mail > Preferences and there I find the gmail account in the list to the left.
When pressing the "-" it says it can't be deleted go to System Properties (don't know if that is the right translation) but on that list it is no where to be found.
Anyone know what to do? Thanks in advance.

Admin. Have only one account on this computer.
The strange thing is it was no problem deleting other mail accounts from the list. Just this one from gmail. Think I need to find a apple reseller. They are always so educated fixing your problems in a minute.
Is the gMail account in use, like trying to fetch or send Mail & failing?
If you have an Apple reseller close enough, it's always a lot easier with hands on. 🙂
Yes the gmail works. Thanks for trying to help. Usually I always manage to fix things by myself but this time I am really stuck. And it is such a small problem which is very enoying.

It works for me too. Just not for that email account. I told you something was wrong. Therefore I come here. If I found out what is the problem I tell you.
