Q: Macbook won't sleep

I also tried the suggestions in this thread: MacBook Pro won't sleep

Reset PRAM
Reset SMC
tried sleep in Safe Mode
deleted all Printers
Repaired Permissions
ejected the PCMCIA-Card

It was running all fine, with upgraded HDD and the newest Mac OS X 10.10.1, just recently the sleep mode stopped working. Not just right after the 10.10.1 upgrade but a few weeks later.

Any ideas?

Check Activity Monitor How to use Activity Monitor - Apple Support to make sure there isn't a process running that is listed as preventing sleep. Click the Energy tab.

Thanks!
With the terminal command I was able to spot the culprit: I had still Internet Sharing enabled.
