Q: I cannot duplicate my desktop using my apple tv

Hi all,

I have get an apple tv and I trying to display my desktop on my tv. I can see the airplay icon in my mac (macbook air mid 2012) but the Airplay is always disconnected and if I try to connect manually to my apple tv it pops up a message saying it cannot connect to apple tv. I have used my iphone with this apple tv and reproduce everything without problem. I can also reproduce all the music of my iTunes library of my mac. Any clue of what is happening???

Hello Jose,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
