Q: Bluetooth mouse not connecting

I am trying to pair my Targus bluetooth mouse with my Macbook Pro. In System Preferences/Bluetooth, it does not discover the mouse. Under the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar, I do not have the option to Setup a Bluetooth Device. Please advise.

You have top go to BT preferences to get the option to add a device.
Are yo sure the Targus mouse is a BT mouse and does not require it own USB dongle?
Do other BT devices work with your Mac?

In Bluetooth preferences, the device does not appear. The mouse is BT and does not require a USB dongle. Other BT devices work with my Mac.

Do any lights/LEDs ligts on the mouse?
Does another computer see the mouse?
