May 25, 2015 2:29 PM in response to collage2007by jmt13319,IT seems to me if they combined the ability to store loyalty cards as does google wallet with the ease of the storage of credit card info it would be a home run. Currently I have to use 2 separate apps to purchase a cup of coffee at Starbucks. Well I also need to take a loan on that same cup.

Feb 25, 2016 2:39 PM in response to collage2007by adrienRgmail,I can't add/create a new entry into Wallet for a loyalty card (bar code). I use to be able to do this only a few months ago. What happened?
After spending an hour researching online, I have concluded that Apple has fundamentally changed the functionality of "Passbook" as of Oct. 30th 2015 and relaunched it as "Wallet", which is not nearly as comprehensive. Use Wallet on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support I guess Passbook wasn't making enough money on loyalty cards, etc, so it got an overhaul with the Apple "Pay" roll out in 2015 and a rebranding as "Wallet". Wallet will no longer support any 1d barcode systems that are currently common with most loyalty rewards cards. (https://www.passsource.com/info/) Wallet also does not allow any manual entry or management. Wallet is still grandfathering in any old cards, with no comment on how long that will last, but it seems clear they will discontinue this as quickly as possible. I looked for a work-around like https://www.passsource.com/, but no luck.
Has anyone found a way to work-around this problem?
