I manually saved an iMessage conversation and it disappeared!

To manually save a conversation in iMessage you press Command + Shift + W. Well I did that to manually SAVE a conversation and now it has DISAPPEARED. I'm freaking out because I need this conversation! I need EVERYTHING from this conversation and now I can't find it. How do I find it?

Hi,

In which Menu in Messages 8 in Yosemite did you find that command ?

There is no Save function.

The keystrokes you used would Close the conversation as you described.

If it is an iMessages conversation then texting (iMessaging) the person again will bring back the "history"
