Why can I not print emails from Safari mail

I can print from just about every source on my iMac, except Safari Mail. When I open my iCloud Mail, and try to print an email, all I see is a blank page

and if I click to print a page, all I get is 1 line of script at the bottom of the page.

Am I missing something that allows mail to be printed?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9), Epson Sylus DV8400

Hi Eric, firstly, I clicked on the wrong hyperlink. After clicking on the one at the bottom of the thread, I went through all the troubleshooting tips, none of which covered my problem.

Then, I went into System Preferences>printers and Scanners. It was there that I looked at the bottom of the window and saw this: User uploaded file

I then clicked on the Default printer to select the one printer I have (out of 2 in the queue) and selected the one I have connected. Success!!

This is something that Apple have overlooked in their trouble-shooting tips. It also doesn't explain the fact that I could print from every other

app including my Yahoo emails, but not my Safari mails when 'Last printer Used' was showing.

On this basis, I am awarding a gold star if only for your suggestion.
