Copying GB APP from one MAC to my other

I have two MACs. I upgraded to GB 10.0.3 on one. Do I have to pay for an upgrade on the other if I want the latest version on both?

MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7

Good morning sburech,

If you are using the same Apple ID for App Store purchases on both Macs, you can download the new version of Garageband again at no cost. See this article -

Specifically -

Can I use apps from the Mac App Store on more than one computer?

Apps from the Mac App Store may be used on any Macs that you own or control for your personal use.
