Q: Airdrop

I have a iPhone 6+ and a iPad mini both with my username. When trying to airdrop, i see others in my family sharing or people around me. But i do not see my iPad from my iPHone or visa versa (both with same username logged in. Why dont i see my other device as a option. Previously, when it was under my daughters setup and credentials i could see it. Is it something with them both being logged in with the same username/password?

Use AirDrop to wirelessly share content - Apple Support

I would assume you name your iphone - your name iphone and your ipad - your name ipad i.e bob's iphone and bob's ipad.

Then you should be able to see the device if not for contacts only then use for everyone.
