Syncing a Keynote Presentation

When I revise a Keynote Presentation on my PC the presentation is immediately updated on iCloud Drive and on my iPhone 6 plus but it takes hours to update on my iPad. Any suggestions as to what might be going wrong?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.2
