I was installing OS X snow leopard into a late 2006 iMac when i tripped on the chord and the iMac turned off while installing and now when i try turning it on i only get the LED light in the front and the fan noise nothing else. help !! please !!!

Did you double check the cord to make sure it was not damaged in any way? Made sure the plug is secured tightly on the back of your iMac?

Yea i tried it all and still no response and still just hear the fan noise and the LED light in front come on but that's it nothing else.
iMac turned off during OS X installation and now it won't start up.
