Messages out of order on iphone 6

Same here. I did what Thur said to do and it somewhat worked. Just the some of the messages are not going in order. Like I'll txt someone and it'll go third from the top or something like that. What should I do??

Are you deleting any messages in the threads that are out of order? It used to be true that if you deleted a message, the thread stayed in order as if that message was still there, not based on the time of the remaining messages.

This is a bug Apple needs to fix.

You can try this:

1. Sign out of iMessage

2. Reset your phone

3. Sign back into iMessage

If this does not work - you may need to restore your phone from the last backup

Did you restore your phone?

If you do so now - you may lose the subsequent messages since the last back up

I think you need to update your iPhone to the latest iOS 8.2. After then, if the messages are still out of order, you should restore your iPhone with an iTunes or iCloud backup file.

Make sure your date and time auto button is turned on. That should fix the problem
