Q: iPhone 6 won't take screenshot
You know how you tap the power/lock button and home button at the same time to take a snapshot of your screen? Mine has stopped working. (iPhone 6 128GB, IOS 8.1.2 build 12B440, AT&T)
I'm open to any troubleshooting ideas, but please, before you respond - this is not a problem of knowing how to do it. I've had iPhones for almost 7 years non-stop. I know how to take a screenshot.
I have tried all the variant methods (tap both at the same time, hold and release both at the same time, hold 'home' and tap 'power/lock', hold 'power/lock' and tap 'home', etc.) that I could possibly find here and via google.
I have tried looking through every setting I could think of (photos & camera, general, touch ID & passcode, privacy - including all their submenus) and can't find any way to disable/enable it.
The only thing that I can think of that might explain it is the security policy that is loaded onto the phone for work access, however I was able to do this in the past on the same phone with the same security policy. It is possible it was updated to remove screenshots, but that's a dead-end fix and I'm hoping someone has other ideas to try.
TIA
